VENEZUELA: Time for U.S. action
The United States must intervene militarily in Venezuela immediately and decisively. The Russians, Cubans, and Chinese Communists have together used force in the Western Hemisphere to prop up a failed Socialist experiment under Hugo Chavez and Nicholas Maduro for the past 20 years.
This tyrannical coalition has stolen the wealth of Venezuela, turning this oil-rich nation into South America’s version of Zimbabwe; a failed state plagued by hyperinflation and government terror. In defense of freedom in our hemisphere, in partnership with the people of Venezuela, and together with our Allies we must demonstrate to these grasping dictatorships that their Soviet-style imperialism will not be permitted to succeed here in the Western Hemisphere.
The full force of our military might must be dedicated to assist the legitimate President Guaido’s efforts to free his land from totalitarian rule and liberate his people from the serfdom of socialism.
The Monroe Doctrine requires us to expel today’s aggressor nations. Common decency demands that we Americans actively intervene in support of free people fighting to liberate themselves from those demagogues who have brutally victimized them.
When freedom is threatened anywhere, Free People everywhere are menaced. The alternative to a victory for freedom-loving Venezuelans is nothing less than their ongoing enslavement and the emboldening of grasping Dictators bent on conquest. It is long past time for the United States to intervene in support of President Juan Guiado.
