Margaret Marie Howk, 57

Margaret Marie Howk, 57, passed from this world to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, on April 9, 2019. Born in Fremont, Neb., on Jan. 9, 1962, she moved to Rathdrum, Idaho in 1991. Margaret joins her father and mother, Dwayne and Sharon Kubik, in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Monte; son, Cody (Rena); daughter, Kinsey; granddaughter, Charlotte; her brothers, Don (Jo), Rob (Joy) and Mike (Kristina) and her sister, Barb (Dan).

Margaret held multiple careers but her life will be remembered most by her infectious smile and avid volunteerism. This includes many area churches, Lakeland School District and her work with disability and hospice patients.

Her many hobbies were kayaking, sewing, gardening and everything outdoors. Margaret’s favorite activities were picking wild huckleberries and camping at Priest Lake, Idaho.

Margaret Howk’s celebration of life memorial will be held at Compel Church in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, the Howk family requests your consideration for donation to the Schneidmiller Hospice House. Information can be found at www.hospiceofnorthidaho.org/donate/
