Kirby, a 5-foot-7 sophomore guard from Timberlake High, has appeared in 19 games, starting three for the Vandals (22-11), who travel to Arizona tonight in the third round of the women’s National Invitational Tournament. Kirby missed nearly two months of the season with a foot injury, returning Feb. 7 against Montana in Moscow.

Nina Carlson

Idaho women’s basketball

Carlson, a 6-3 sophomore post from Lake City High, has appeared in 20 games, starting three, for the Vandals (22-11). Carlson had season-highs of eight points and six rebounds against San Francisco on Dec. 1.

Lauren Rewers

Hawaii women’s basketball

Rewers, a 6-4 sophomore center from Lake City High, had eight points and nine rebounds for the Rainbow Wahine (15-17) in a loss to Saint Mary’s in the opening round of the women’s National Invitational Tournament on March 22 in Moraga, Calif. Rewers scored 144 points (4.6 per game) and had 144 rebounds (3.6 per game) in 31 games this season, starting 21.
