PROP 2: Looks who's paying

| March 27, 2019 1:00 AM

I voted against expansion of Medicaid in Idaho — Proposition 2. Within 30 days of its passage, I found that the blood pressure medication I had been taking since my heart attack in January 2008 was no longer covered by my insurance. I received a letter from the insurance company saying I could call them if I had any issues with their determination. My doctor said he would handle it for me but the price increased anyway — from $30 a month to $125.99 a month — a 420 percent increase.

Perhaps those who voted for the Medicaid expansion were unaware that the money to fund it would come from taking medical funding away from those of us who worked all our lives to receive it.

When all of the people from Tijuana, Mexico, arrive in Idaho, those of you who voted for it will have the same thing happen to you to provide funding for the New Idahoans. So now we know how socialism works — via mass murder! Where’s that psycho with the 61 percent van?
