DRILLING: Not for Idaho

Beware the Ides of March.

Seven western states, Idaho included, have now had portions opened up for drilling for gas and oil. It has been determined the Sage Grouse does not need to be protected, so their habitat will now become the habitat for unsightly oil rigs.

If you love our state and its wonderful geography, start contacting Senators Risch and Crapo and Rep. Fulcher.

I do not believe it is good for Idaho to have oil companies trashing the land. If they need to pump hot water, or whatever, down the holes, there is a possibility of other damage being done although the jury is still out on that one. But, why risk it?
