DALTON: Endorsing good leadership
I am the retired attorney for the city of Dalton Gardens, serving in such capacity for more than 30 years. During those years, I have worked with the city governed by six different mayors and more councilmembers than I can remember. I missed probably only a handful of City Council meetings in my years as their city attorney. I did not represent the city in the “Streeter matter” due to a conflict and make no comment on the pending litigation.
Having worked with these various elected officials, I can truthfully say that the present elected City Council, Joe Myers, Denise Lundy, Jamie Smith, Scott Jordan, and Mayor Steven Roberge, have been one of the most conscientious, hardworking, caring and efficient governing bodies I have represented during my career as a city attorney.
The residents of Dalton Gardens duly elected each and every one of these officials, and in my opinion, they each have put in the time and effort to do the various jobs they were elected to perform.
