Poe Asphalt receives national awards

Poe Asphalt recently received four awards at the National Asphalt Pavement Association during the association’s 64th annual meeting in Marco Island, Fla.

“The asphalt pavement industry is committed to building high-quality projects that deliver superior performance to the traveling public. All contractors’ projects earning a Quality in Construction award are measured against best practices designed to live up to that commitment,” said 2018 NAPA Chairman Craig Parker. “Earning the Quality in Construction Awards demonstrates that Poe Asphalt Paving Inc. has met or exceeded these rigorous standards.”

Poe Asphalt Paving Inc., located in Clarkston and Pullman, Wash., and Post Falls, won awards for projects including work on Bayview Road in Bonner County; work on Argonne Road in Spokane County; work on U.S. 95 near Plummer and work on U.S. 95 south of Tensed, both in Benewah County.

“I’m so proud of our employees for achieving these awards as they’re competing against some of the finest paving crews in the country,” said Poe Asphalt President Mark Poe.
