Judy May Poirier, 74

Judy May Poirier was born on April 9, 1945, in San Bernardino, Calif. She passed away peacefully, with family members vigilantly by her side, on June 24, 2019. At age 5, Judy moved with her family to Potlatch, Idaho, where she graduated from high school in 1963.

Judy was a loving, supportive mother, wife, sister and friend — always willing to lend a hand. She worked primarily as a supervisor in the food service industry before retiring to enjoy her family, an occasional game of bingo and watching game shows.

Judy was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, DeVoe “Bill” Poirier; her parents, John Cleavinger and Audra Mills; and her siblings, Marvin, Jack, Mary, Joyce and Patrick. She is survived by four sons and one daughter, their spouses, 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a celebration of life at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Yates Funeral Home – Coeur d’Alene Chapel, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
