Violent Crimes Task Force seeks Hoopii

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force (NIVCTF) is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Virgil Hoku Hoopii.

Hoopii is being sought on a Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office warrant for multiple parole violations for the original charges of possession of a controlled substance and burglary.

Hoopii is a Pacific Islander male, 30 years old, 5-feet 10-inches tall, 170 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Hoopii was most recently listed as living in Coeur d’Alene.

The NIVCTF, consisting of members of the FBI, Idaho State Police, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Post Falls Police Department, Rathdrum Police Department, and the Idaho Department of Correction, is tasked with locating and apprehending violent fugitives charged with such crimes as homicide, bank robbery, robbery, kidnapping, rape / sexual assault, felonious assault, arson, drug trafficking, etc.
