Joshua Brendon Stores, 44

Joshua Brendon Stores, 44, passed away on Jan. 27, 2019. Josh was a lifelong North Idaho resident. He enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, hunting, football, woodworking and overall being outdoors. Above all else his true passion was his family, his friends, and his God, Jehovah.

Josh married Lindsay on Aug. 12, 1994, and in October of 2003, they welcomed their only child, Hannah. Josh’s health dramatically declined about eight years ago when he started his battle with pancreatitis. His attitude and his great personality hid the tremendous suffering that he endured. He knew that this was all temporary and looked forward to a future of perfect health. He had a strong faith in the promise found in John 5:28.

Josh worked the majority of his life in the drywall construction field, where he developed many close relationships that remained strong even after he was unable to work. Josh has left a hole in the hearts of many.

Josh was preceded in death by his father, Jim Stores. He is survived by Lindsay, his wife of 24 years; Hannah, his 15-year-old daughter; mother, Betty Steiner; step-father, Stan Steiner; his 99-year-old grandfather, Arthur Steiner; siblings, Jeremy (Jaime) Stores, Rhonda (Ron) Childers and Eric (Mandy) Steiner, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many cousins, including Lena and Aaron Gauger and Sterling Smith, his brother at heart. Josh enriched the lives of many.

A memorial will be held at a later date.

English Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements. Please sign his online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
