Do-over scheduled for Parks Commission meeting

City officials in Coeur d’Alene announced on the city’s website that all actions taken at the Jan. 28 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting are void, and agenda items will be reheard Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of Coeur d’Alene Public Library.

“The City acknowledges that the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting held on January 28, 2019 was inadvertently not in compliance with the Idaho State open meeting law,” the website states.

The meeting’s agenda was not posted on the city’s website at least 48 hours prior to the meeting, as state law requires.

The city is enouraging residents to watch the Jan. 28 meeting proceedings on the city’s YouTube page to see the Atlas waterfront concept that will be heard again Feb. 25.
