The Vikings’ 6-foot-2 senior post scored 17 points, including two clutch free throws late, in a victory at Lake City on Friday. On Saturday, he scored another 17, and earned praise for helping hold Moscow star Gabe Quinnett to 14 points, in a road victory over the Bears. “Our game plan was to keep Quinnett from scoring, and Carter did a great job on him,” Coeur d’Alene coach Tony Hanna said.
