Edward Richard Santos Jr., 80

Edward Richard Santos Jr., 80, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away Jan. 11, 2019, at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. Ed was born on April 27, 1938, in Hilo, Hawaii, to Edward Richard Santos and Bernice (Horofski) Santos.

He was married to Betty Lou Santos for 32 years before being widowed. He later was married to Joan Santos for 23 years, and was again widowed six years ago.

Ed was a great man and a wonderful father and husband. He was an electrical mechanical engineer for more than 30 years. He loved sports, fly fishing and anything in the great outdoors.

Ed is survived by sons Garry Santos and Jeffrey Santos as well as daughter Sandra Forde. He has five stepchildren: Kara Murray, Laura Holmes, Steve Michael, Matthew Michael and Nona King; along with 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Ed was a strong Christian man who loved our Lord. He will be forever loved and missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at the Calvary Chapel Lighthouse Church, 650 W. Lancaster Road, Hayden, ID 83835, with a graveside service following at Riverview Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
