SPOKANE — Nate Pryor scored 31 points on 14-of-26 shooting for North Idaho College in a 99-65 win over the Community Colleges of Spokane in Northwest Athletic Conference play on Wednesday at Spokane Community College.

NIC (18-2, 7-0 NWAC) outscored Spokane (15-6, 6-2) 60-28 in the second half after the Cardinals took a 39-37 halftime lead.

“The guys played really well and did for the entire game,” NIC coach Corey Symons said. “Spokane hit some big shots early, but we had to stick to the gameplan and stay the course. In the second half, we kind of wore on them and were able to keep pushing the tempo. Nate had a great first half and really just kept us in it. Once we finally got rolling, we started to do what we do.”

RayQuan Evans had 21 points and 12 rebounds, Jarod Greene 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting for NIC, which hosts Yakima Valley on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Tanner McCliment-Call, a Post Falls High product, led Spokane with 17 points off the bench. Garrett White, a North Idaho Christian product, had eight points, seven rebounds and two assists for Spokane.
