House helps Wallace girls top Kootenai

WALLACE — Jaden House scored 18 points to lead the Wallace Miners past the Kootenai Warriors 46-9 in a North Star League game Tuesday night at Kirby Krulitz Court.

Wallace (6-9, 4-2 NSL) travels to Lakeside on Thursday.

Tayva Maitland and Abigail Tiller scored four points each for Kootenai (1-10, 0-6), which travels to Mullan on Thursday.

“We had a tough night shooting and credit St. George’s for finding the bottom of the nylon,” Genesis Prep coach Brandon Haas said. “They are a good team and we learned tonight.”

Bella Murekatete scored 10 points for Genesis Prep (7-9), which faces Lakeside on Friday at Post Falls Middle School.

Lydia Bergquist scored 28 points for St. George’s.
