William Lee Conner was born on Aug. 5, 1936, in Rhame, N.D. Bill passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2019, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Bill met and married his junior high school sweetheart, Kay, on July 21, 1956. They were married 53 years when Kay passed away.

He was preceded in death by his son Bradly Conner in 2007, and his precious wife Kay Conner in 2009.

Papa leaves behind three children: Bruce, Brian, Brenda Day (Steve); a beautiful daughter-in-law, Cynthia; seven grandchildren: Jake, Christine, Brianna, Aaron, Richard, Katie and Rachel, as well as one great-grandson, Jaxsen.

A man committed to faith, family, country and community, he touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. Enjoy heaven, Papa. We love you.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814. The graveside with military honors will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
