Rosella J. Tucker, 93

Rosella J. Tucker, 93, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Jan. 9, 2019. Roselle was born to Lenora and Rolla Potter in Morgan, Minn., where she lived on a farm and went to a county school for eight years. She then went on to high school in Bemidji, Minn., then graduated from Bemidji High in 1943. That same year, Rose moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with her parents.

In 1944 Rose went to Everett, Wash., where she worked as a welder in a shipyard. There is where she met and married Victor Frank. They were later divorced in 1953. She then met and married Clyde Tucker in Utah in 1959. After Clyde’s retirement, they moved back to Coeur d’Alene. She was an active member in Christ the King Lutheran Church.

Rose is survived by daughters, Carol (Kent) Price of Syracuse, Utah, and Vickie Simpson of Colfax, Wash.; sons, Michael Tucker of Kirkland, Wash., Leslie (Deb) Frank of Coeur d’Alene and Clarence Frank of Hayden, Idaho. Rose has 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde; daughter, Rose; brothers, Clarence and Bernard; sister, Cecelia and granddaughter, Tiffany.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rosella’s name to The Village at Orchard Ridge, 624 W. Harrison Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.

A funeral service for Rosella will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1700 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814. Graveside services will follow the church service at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
