Vivian K. Grant, 94

Vivian K. Grant, age 94, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Dec. 31, 2018. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 477 E. Honeysuckle Ave., Hayden, Idaho. Bishop Ben Potter will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 5, 2019, at the location of the funeral. Burial to follow at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are being arranged by English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene.

Vivian was born to James and Francis Douberley on Aug. 14, 1924, in Lake City, Fla. She graduated from her local high school in Lake City and continued on to receive an associate’s degree in nursing.

Vivian was sealed to Glen Warren on Oct. 26, 1949, in the Alberta Temple. They were happily married for 30 years, and had one daughter, Suzanne. After Glen passed away in 1979, she went on to marry William Kelly in 1980. William passed away in 1989 in Polson, Mont. She moved to Hayden, Idaho, to be close to her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Bruce Blinzler. After 10 years of living in Hayden she married Darwin Grant, who preceded her in death on June of 2012.

Vivian worked as an RN for medical doctors in Polson until she retired in 1975. She enjoyed gardening in the summer, cross stitching and other types of hand work. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Vivian is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Bruce Blinzler, as well as other nieces and nephews.
