Loretta Jean Tindall

Loretta Jean Tindall was born Loretta Jean Olson on Jan. 4, 1940. She was the first born of J. Orlie and Geraldine Olson and lived the majority of her life in the Pacific Northwest, from the Oregon Coast to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Renton, Wash., and then finally settled in The Dalles, Ore., after her marriage to Lee Roy Morrell, who survives her.

Loretta graduated from Wy East High School, in Hood River, Ore., in 1958. She was the mother to three sons that she primarily raised on her own. She is survived by her sons, Jay Martin of Weiser, Idaho, Dan Tindall and his wife, Melissa, of Winthrop, Wash., and John Tindall and his wife, Tracey, of Coeur d’Alene.

She is survived by her only sister, Joyce Ziegler and her husband, James of Underwood, Wash. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous members of her church family at Calvary Baptist Church.

There will be a Celebration of Loretta’s life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at Baptist Calvary Church in The Dalles. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Humane Society in Loretta’s name
