Jessen, a junior, beat Hunter White of Moses Lake 7-3 in the 132-pound championship match at the Tri-State Invitational on Saturday at North Idaho College. “He’s an awesome kid,” Post Falls coach Pete Reardon said. “He’s just a hard worker and he’s a machine, man. He’s the kid of kid, that when he gets nervous, he gets a little more intense, and he ups his game. I knew he’d go out and wrestle hard.”
