Irene Gladys (Stavro) Knauber

Irene was born in Pasadena, Calif.; the third child of Eugene and Alicia Stavro.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard, and her son, Kerry. Irene relocated to Post Falls to join her family. She was active at the Post Falls Senior Center and made many wonderful friends there.

Irene was a golfer, dancer and an accomplished artist. She is survived by her son, Robert, and daughter-in-law, Colleen of Post Falls; her granddaughter, Julia Guinn of Spokane, Wash. and her granddaughter, Katherine McInturf, with husband, Scott and two sons, Harper and Emerson of Raleigh, N.C.

Irene died on Dec. 13, 2019, surrounded by her family. At Irene’s request, no services will be held.
