TRUMP: Record of success

The letters coming in from the Trump haters have me scratching my head.

They’ve been determined to destroy anything good that he accomplishes since the day he was sworn in. The economy has never been in better shape and the employment figures are outstanding; lowest unemployment in 50 years or longer, and highest employment figures for African and Hispanic Americans in at least five decades as well.

The former NAFTA Agreement has been modified so that it’s not skewed in favor of our neighbors to the north and to the south, another feat of diplomacy, tradesmanship and negotiating experience that was lacking in previous presidents. Except maybe they were content with taking a whupping and not arguing about it.

Opening up the huge immigration issue that, uh, how many past presidents promised during their campaigns, and then just kicked the can down the road as has been said, is finally bringing about badly needed changes in control of our borders; done by Guess Who.

Addressing and canceling the crippling regulations on businesses, particularly the small entrepreneurs, as well as putting thousands of coal mine workers back to work. Thousands upon thousands of those workers were on food stamps and hated it; it took away their ability to earn a living, support their families and maintain their dignity. That action, with nothing energy-wise to replace the loss of production of a vital commodity. Hillary had promised to close the mines if she were elected, but Obama did it for her.

So what has been accomplished by the Democrats in the House that they control in three years? Absolutely nothing. No legislation has been even discussed, or talked about in the media. Their complete focus has been on impeachment, by any means possible and the country be damned. They’d rather see our beautiful country in tatters.

Ask any kid between the ages of 8 and 25. They’ll tell you what a terrible country this is. It’s all they’ve heard from the media and in the classrooms.
