| December 18, 2019 12:00 AM

November’s Board of Directors meeting ushered in the official changes in the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce leadership as Heidi Rogers, CEO/executive director for the Northwest Council for Computer Education, became the new chairperson, taking the reins from Brent Lyles, vice president of Elk Point.

Joining the chamber board for the first time are the following six community business leaders: Clint Schroeder, publisher of the Cd’A Press; Randy McIntire, vice president of Super 1 Foods; Ali Taylor, executive officer of the Coeur d’Alene Association of Realtors; Todd Kiesbuy, regional manager for Avista; Jody Azevedo, area vice president of corporate and external relations for Numerica; and Tyler Alvarado, CEO of Continuous Composites.

Troy Tymesen, administrator for the city of Coeur d’Alene, steps up from his board position to become a member of the executive/finance committee, and Ann Thomas, vice president of Commercial Lending for Mountain West Bank, becomes the chair-elect for 2020-2021.

Having completed their service and leaving the Cd’A Chamber board are Mike Ward, past chair; Kim Anderson, Ron Nilson, Peter Riggs, Luke Russell, and Vicki Isakson.

After more than two decades of volunteer service, Janet Robnett of Lake City Law Firm has stepped aside as the Cd’A Chamber legal counsel. Luke Malek of Smith+Malek will be serving as the new counsel.

The Cd’A Chamber’s new President/CEO, Derrell Hartwick, started on Dec. 2. He is replacing Steve Wilson, who is retiring. Steve and Derrell will work together through the December transition period.
