U.S.: Deadly invasion species

| December 15, 2019 12:00 AM

A 3-foot invasive Florida Burmese python may be cute to some people, but once the silent ambush killer gets to be 12 to 18 feet long, your “pet” can crush you.

America is at a crossroads.

Lacking modern electronics as a kid on our semi-isolated ranch, I was “stuck” reading the family library. Among the books was, “The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire” (Gibbon, 1776). But it was not just the mighty Romans, but all mighty empires, that suffered defeat. Remember the Trojan Horse?

Why defeat? Many reasons, including denial of human freedom; slavery of one’s fellow man; unjust laws favoring power-hungry rulers; sacrifice of other human beings; theft; slander; lack of morals; sexual perversity, including the use of children; endless wars and violence; and ever increasing lawlessness.

In 1989, we heard Richard Wurmbrand speak (Voice of The Martyrs). He had been so badly tortured by the Communists that he could not stand.

How many remember the prophetic voice of Andrei Sakharov (1921-1989) to America, about losing our freedoms?

Totalitarian rulers of China already have concentration camps housing about one million people, and from these people, human organs are harvested; just like America’s abortion industry harvests baby organs.

Now if your god is government, remember, it is even helpless to control scam calls on our phones!

For our children’s and grandchildren’s sakes, we must be better informed and act.

Jesus said, “ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye discern the signs of the times?” (Matthew 16:3)
