DRIVING: A holiday perspective

| December 13, 2019 12:00 AM

It was a dark drizzling Saturday not long after dawn, and while driving I realized something was wrong.

All the cars with their lights on so bright, are easy to see even with my atrocious eyesight.

Suddenly from the corner of my eye, a black Dodge Charger framed by the car lights, and as the cars got much closer “No!” did I cry.

Why does this state trooper, one of Idaho’s best, not have the lights on in such a dark drizzly mess?

So, to all I remind, make everyone safe. Drive defensively, turn your lights on in the rain and snow, after the dawn and long before dusk, so we all may arrive without a scratch or a smite.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a very safe journey.
