OUTBACK: No happy ending

To Ms. Thrasher: If you think Outback cared about their employees, I doubt they gave a damn.
I’m pretty sure that the servers weren’t even paid minimum wage like a lot of food servers in this area. They have to depend on tips, and then they’re taxed on that.
I also doubt that they had any kind of benefits, so I would guess there was no severance package available to them.
It’s always about the bottom line. It’s about money.
They’re lucky if they got a handshake and a thank you as they got kicked out the door.
A friend of mine in SoCal said their Outback was closed a while back.
