TRUMP: Seeking fair coverage

I’m new to the Coeur d’Alene Press. Overall, I’ve found the articles interesting and informative. But like Jerry Weaver (who sent in a letter on the World/Nation section), I too have found the titles and gist of the articles to be oddly biased in opposition to Trump. When reading “impeachment” articles, it’s frustrating to come across statements that are misleading or presenting an obvious anti-Trump tone.

That people don’t like Trump is totally understandable, but not liking him is not a high crime or misdemeanor. It’s just an opinion, which apparently many in the national media don’t seem to understand.

It would be appreciated if your paper would actually apply journalistic principles in publishing any and all articles in your paper. I’ve come to realize that the national media no longer falls under actual journalism, but I hold out hope that a local paper still believes in and practices fair and honest reporting.
