MOSCOW — With a makeshift roster, the Post Falls Trojans made the most of it in their season opener Tuesday at Moscow Community Playfields.

Aidan O’Halloran and Ethan Lawson had a goal and assist each in the first half as the Trojans beat the Bears 2-0 in a nonleague match.

“We had some kids not ready and our starting centerback has a sprained ankle and was out,” Post Falls coach Gabe Lawson said. “We had to bring up some kids today, and didn’t have a full roster, but the guys made it happen. We were organzied defensively, and when we were on, we were on. The goals we scored were beautiful goals. Moscow’s a good team and gave us a good run today.”
