First Interstate promotes Murrin

First Interstate has promoted Amy Murrin to processor manager for the Coeur d’Alene market, where she will support and manage loan processors and home loan representatives in North Idaho.

Murrin has been in the mortgage industry for 22 years, where she started as a receptionist and data entry clerk. She worked as a loan closer for the past six years with Idaho Independent Bank. She joined First Interstate as part of the bank’s acquisition of Idaho Independent in April 2019.

Ramirez joins Dirks Insurance Group

Dirks Insurance Group announced the addition of insurance broker, Scott Ramirez, to the agency. Ramirez and his family relocated to the area in 2017. Before beginning his career in insurance, Ramirez served over 20 years with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
