ETIQUETTE: Second Bob's motions

| April 24, 2019 1:00 AM

Just wanted to thank you for re-publishing the 7 Points to Ponder on Idaho Etiquette on March 22. I also want to tag on to Bob McAdams’ sentiments.

Simply put, we also believe in the right to worship, the Second Amendment and good manners. We respect the law and our elders because we know they play an important role in our society. We salute the flag and our veterans. We’ll give a handout and believe in a hand up. We’re about great health care, good coffee and growlers. We’re also sports fans and yep, that includes rodeo riding.

Mother Nature blessed North Idaho and we keep it that way. It’s who we are, everyone is welcome and to quote Mr. McAdams, “We are afraid of nothing. Except one: That the influx of people who are unwilling to adapt to our way of life will forever negatively change our way of life. Idaho has been discovered. We can’t stop the growth. But maybe, just maybe, those newcomers to our paradise will slow down, smell the roses and immerse themselves into our way of life, preserving the beauty and quality of life that brought most of us here in the first place.”
