Cardinals take two from Big Bend

MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Ashlyn Winn and Madi Mott each homered twice in the first game, Devinne Amesquita went deep twice in the nightcap and North Idaho College swept Big Bend 11-0 and 13-5 in Northwest Athletic Conference play on Friday.

Winn and Mott had four RBIs each in the opener, and Mott struck out seven in the circle for NIC.

Amesquita drove in five runs in the nightcap for NIC (15-7, 13-3 NWAC), which travels to Walla Walla for a doubleheader today starting at noon.

Big Bend is 16-6, 10-4.
