| April 10, 2019 1:00 AM

The Idaho Dental Foundation is seeking applicants for 2019 grants up to $2,500. The deadline for grant application submission is May 15.

The grants funding objectives include projects or initiatives that improve the oral health of Idaho’s underserved citizens, including uninsured and low-income Idahoans. Dental needs vary by region and these grants aim to address multiple needs across the state.

The Idaho Dental Foundation is a nonprofit organization exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes including, but not limited to, grant distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt under sections 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Previous grant recipients include Boise Rescue Mission, Genesis Community Clinic, Serve for Health, Coeur d’Alene St. Vincent de Paul, Your Special Smiles, Snake River Community Clinic and more. The Idaho Dental Foundation board is committed to the most efficient use of its donor’s charitable dollars for oral health in the state of Idaho.

Grant application guidelines and applications are available at http://www.theisda.org/member-center/idaho-dental-foundation.

The foundation is a subsidiary of the Idaho State Dental Association. Idaho Dental Foundation board members are dentist-members of the association. The two organizations work closely in their efforts to support Idaho’s oral health initiatives.
