Idaho's apartment renters are happy campers

COEUR d’ALENE — Idaho is crushing it in the world of apartment reviews.

According to a 2019 Rent.com online apartment review analysis released March 28, most apartment reviews fall into one extreme or the other — very positive or very negative. In the last six months, 72 percent of all online reviews gathered in this data were either a 1 or 5 on a scale from 1 to 5. And some states skew more positive than others when it comes to reviews.

Based on states with at least 50 reviews, the most positive reviews are for apartments in Idaho, New York and Delaware. These reviewers rate their apartments above four stars on average. One of the main things that stands out to renters is the friendly staff, which says a lot about the people of Idaho, both staff and those taking the time to highlight their service.

The most negative reviews were found in Washington and Oregon, with average ratings of 2.1 and 2.3, respectively.
