KIDS: Keep this in mind

| September 28, 2018 1:00 AM

Is no one upset, concerned about the kids being separated from their parents, then LOST at our southern border? It appears not. First we separate them, put thousands in foster care, then lose them! More than 1,600. Some kids are still being kept in cages. Why? If the government feels the need to incarcerate adults, illegally when they are seeking asylum, at least keep the families together.

This behavior reeks of concentration camps and the shameful way Asian Americans were treated during World War II. It would seem that not treating kids with care, love and dignity is a great breeding ground for future gang and terrorist actions. Including kids born here.

We wonder why the school shootings and gang activity happens. I’ve thought for a long time that the U.S. doesn’t care about our kids, as we should. After all, they will be governing and deciding what happens to old folks. If we don’t care about them now, why should they care about us old folks?
