MIRANDA: For county commissioner

| September 26, 2018 1:00 AM

As a lifelong resident of this great state, I care deeply about Idaho and her communities. My wife and I retired and moved from eastern Idaho to Coeur d’Alene in 2010. We are now close to our daughters and their wonderful families.

The Kootenai County Commissioners represent thousands of wonderful families and are charged with the governance of our county. Our county is growing rapidly and ahead of us are many opportunities and challenges. It is critical that we promote a shared and valued way of life as we move toward our future.

Our county commissioners will lead us to this future. We will need commissioners who have the right experiences, are smart, open-minded and accessible to everyone. In Idaho, we have a real opportunity to get to know our local candidates/officials. This also gives us the opportunity to move away from partisanship voting and the ability to vote for the best person for county commissioner. This serves us all well.

Ruben Miranda, candidate for Kootenai County Commissioner, understands this and is committed to serving in a nonpartisan manner with a focus on what is best for our county and citizens. If you know Ruben, you know he is smart, prepared and will be devoted to being a good commissioner. If you don’t know Ruben, you will find him to be approachable and willing to listen and learn. When Rubin says he will serve with “common sense, common decency and common courtesy,” you can trust that he will.
