POST FALLS — Cameron Dance scored on an assist from Drake Prohaska in the 67th minute to lift the Coeur d’Alene Vikings past the Post Falls Trojans 2-1 in a 5A Inland Empire League match at Post Falls High on Saturday.

“That goal was a slight defensive mistake on our part,” Post Falls coach Gabe Lawson said of Dance’s goal. “It was an even match all the way through. We finally put together a complete first and second half, with no goalkeeper errors, which allowed us to stay in the match. It was very encouraging to see, and the boys were happy to see the progress we’ve made. We know that we can play with any of these teams at this point.”
