Grove tied for second

at PNW Professional Championship

RICHLAND, Wash. — Defending champion Russell Grove, the North Idaho College head men’s and women’s golf coach, is locked in a four-way tie for second place after the second round of the Pacific Northwest PGA Professional Championship on Wednesday at Meadow Springs Country Club.

Grove is currently at 139 for the tournament, one shot behind leader Shane Prante, who holds a 65-73—138. Grove shot rounds of 67-72—139.

The top seven professionals will earn a spot and advance directly to the 2019 PGA Professional Championship at Belfair, S.C., starting on April 28, 2019. Additionally, the low 20 scores at the 2019 Professional Championship will earn a place in the 101st PGA Championship at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, N.Y. May 13-19, 2019.
