Jack Denny

Jack “Bo” Denny of Spokane, Wash., formerly of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018. Jack was a true American hero. He served as a SeaBee in the United States Navy during three wars. He was a beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend. All who had the privilege of knowing Jack knew that he was kind and generous, a helper to all and had a wit that never ended.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother, father, two brothers, a sister and a newborn son. He is survived by a family that had the blessing of being loved by him. They include his wife of 65 years, Joane (Dickens) Denny; daughters, Suzanne Miller and her husband, Loren, and Catherine Denny; granddaughter, Cara Wright and her husband, Kevin; grandson, Robert Humbird and his wife, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Rocky, Hannah, John, Rachel, Holli, Luke, Scott and Bridgett, and many siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends whose lives were better because they knew him.

There will be a time of remembering and reminiscing at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, in the banquet room of the Onion, located at 7522 N. Division Street in Spokane, Wash. Please join Jack’s family and friends as his life is celebrated.
