Music event to support turkey drive

| September 5, 2018 1:00 AM

Fight hunger, feed hope and enjoy some music Thursday during The Big Gobble in downtown Coeur d’Alene.

The fundraising event, organized by Turkeys & More, will take place from noon to 8 p.m.

Musicians have volunteered to perform and will donate any money they collect to the Community Action Food Bank of Kootenai County so 1,700 vulnerable families will be able to enjoy a turkey and trimmings for Thanksgiving. Turkeys & More needs to raise $36,000 to be able to order the turkeys this month.
