TRUMP: You're wrong, Ron

Ron Boothe’s letter to the editor last Wednesday said he was “deeply insulted, astounded, and ashamed” of President Trump’s behavior. That’s how I, and almost everyone I know, felt the previous eight years under Obama’s dismal administration. I’d also add outraged. Added to that, was the horrendous possibility of Hillary Clinton becoming his successor. These things are what got Donald Trump into the battle to save America.

President Trump certainly is not orthodox, but he is a fighter. He refuses to bow down to the unholy status quo and the liberal press. He wants to “Make America Great Again.” Trump is the only real presidential leader since Ronald Reagan, and history will soon acknowledge this.

Mr. Boothe also painted the “Christian Right” with a broad brush. He postulates that they get all their information from “cyberspace” and insinuates that they are all ignorant of the truth. Would he have us believe MSNBC, CNN and The New York Times? Can he not see that these and many others slant the news to fit their political agendas?

The Christian Right are not all, or even mostly, Radical Right Wingers. I know because I am a Christian and a Conservative as well, and so are the majority of those I know. We are mostly intelligent, thoughtful, patriotic, and dedicated to truth in all its forms.

It will take the leadership of many Christian Conservatives to undo all the harm that the Liberal, Socialist, Progressives have done to our country.
