Halloween Happenings and Fall Festivals

Got big plans with your little ghouls and goblins? Here are some fun activities to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve.

3-7 p.m. | Take a Ride for Halloween. The downtown Coeur d’Alene Carousel will be open to celebrate Halloween. All ages come and ride the ponies in your scary, funny, or outrageous costume. 439 Fort Grounds Drive. $2.

4-6 p.m. | Trick-or-Treat Downtown. Safe family fun! Wear costumes and visit the businesses downtown for treats. Hosted by the Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association. Free. Sherman Avenue.

5-7 p.m. | Halloween Fun at the Mall. Presented by Candlelight Christian Fellowship and Silverlake Mall. Plenty of games to choose from, including ring toss, cake walk, miniature golf, fishing, obstacle course and bowling. Plus cookie decorating, animal balloons, face painting and a costume contest with prizes. Free. 200 W. Hanley Ave. 208-772-7755.

5-9 p.m. | Moonlight Monster Cruises. Enjoy a spooktacular, 45-minute cruise on Coeur d’Alene Lake full of Halloween fun including a costume contest, on-board haunted house and no-host bar for those 21 and up. Cost is $10 per person, or free for ages 3 and under. Board at the Boardwalk Marina, 115 S. Second St. Tickets available at cdacruises.com or call 208-292-5670.

5:30-7:30 p.m. | Real Life Ministries Harvest Festival. Everyone is welcome to join this year’s festival, which includes live music, bounce houses, games, free professional family photos, and CANDY! A free, fun, safe and warm event. Located in Building 1 of the Post Falls campus, 1860 N. Cecil Road. 208-777-7325.

7-10 p.m. | Post Falls Lions Club Haunted House. $7 per person or $5 with a donation of two cans of food. 504 E. Fourth Ave. 208-262-1122.
