DUNCAN: For less regulations

| October 31, 2018 1:47 AM

My wife and I have had the privilege of knowing Leslie Duncan, Candidate for Commissioner District 3, for more than 14 years. Over those years, we know her to be a person you can count on and trust with responsibility. She is a listener, dependable and her main concern would be county affairs from one end of the county to the other.

Two things we know about Leslie: 1) Simply put, she lives in the county and county concerns would be her first priority. And 2) She is not one to cave in to self interest groups that may affect the future of Kootenai County. I feel she could unbiasedly vote her mind for the betterment of our county affairs and bring balance to our 3 county commissioner system.

Like many people who were born here or have lived in the country most of their lives, we have a degree of respect for anyone running for a county office who has lived within Kootenai County for almost 20 years. Leslie also has years of experience with county involvement including serving currently as the Aquifer Protection District chairperson, President of her local water district board and many years as a community volunteer. Leslie is passionate about minimal governmental regulations.

We trust that those within the county who are like-minded and agree with these qualities in a candidate would join us in voting Tuesday, November 6th for Leslie Duncan, County Commissioner, District 3.
