Wet Halloween a possibility
The forecast for Wednesday evening is plenty of sugar with a little H2O possibly mixed in.
Press meteorolgist Randy Mann said Monday that there’s a “good chance” of showers, with highs in the mid- to upper 40s, when the little ghosts and goblins go door-to-door between 6 and 8 p.m. on Halloween.
“A storm will be moving through in the afternoon,” Mann predicted gloomily, then added almost brightly: “If it speeds up then we’ll be OK.”
But as any good trick-or-treater will tell you, come rain or snow or cold, the quest will go on.
Free sugar is worth the effort.
