Robbery reported at Rathdrum business

RATHDRUM — Police are seeking a suspect in a robbery that was reported Monday night at the Rathdrum Jiffy Stop, 15370 N. Highway 41.

An employee told police a man approached the cash register demanding money at 7:23 p.m. After taking the money, the man fled the area. The employee was not injured and did not see a weapon, police said.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot tall white man in his late 20s or early 30s with a medium build, police said. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, olive green cargo pants and brown shoes at the time of the incident.
