North Idaho Christian wins volleyball match

COEUR d’ALENE — For the second time in as many meetings, North Idaho Christian School and Pullman Christian played a marathon five-set volleyball match.

The result was better this time for the host Royals, who won a 25-14, 26-24, 28-30, 21-25, 15-11 match in 2 1/2 hours Monday night at Holy Family School.

Delaney LePard had 14 kills, 22 digs and seven aces for NICS (12-8 overall, 5-5 Mountain Christian League). Kaylee Prosch had 30 assists for the Royals, who conclude their season Nov. 9-10 at the Mountain Christian League tournament in Pullman.
