Some members of law enforcement are still at the high school, but no weapons were found and no actual threat identified. District spokesman Scott Maben said an anonymous caller had said a gunman was in the front parking at LCHS, but Maben did not have any other details about the call.
School officials allowed parents to take students home early, but for everyone else the school day was expected to continue as normal.
The Press is receiving reports that Lake City High School is on lockdown due to an anonymous call that was made. Police are at LCHS to investigate. Some parents have responded to the school. This is not related to the active shooter training at the school, Spokesman Scott Maben said.

Here is a message the Coeur d’Alene School District sent to parents at 9:28 a.m.: “Lake City High School is in lockdown now as officers investigate a phone call regarding a threat in the parking lot. Coeur d’Alene police officers are on the scene now to investigate if this is a credible threat. More information will come.”
“All is safe inside. Parents need to keep away. Police are asking for that help,” Maben said in a text to The Press.
