WILSON: For schools' leader

| October 28, 2018 1:00 AM

Cindy Wilson is the most qualified candidate to run for Superintendent of Public Instruction in decades. Her qualifications are exemplary, and her passion and personality are perfectly suited for working with legislators to make Idaho public schools the best possible for every student.

She knows firsthand the unique challenges facing rural schools, as well as large school districts. An award-winning teacher for many years, Cindy’s accomplishments include The Milken Award for Idaho, Meridian Teacher of the Year and The Orofino Rotary Club Teacher of the Year. She has served on the Committee for Idaho’s YMCA Youth Government Program and was appointed by Gov. Otter to serve on the Board of Corrections. These are just a small sampling of Cindy’s list of awards and service commitments.

The real bonus for Idaho students is that the moment she is elected, Cindy will put her talents and passion to work. We have an opportunity to elect the best possible person for Superintendent of Public Instruction. Vote for Cindy Wilson.
