James A. Siroshton, 91

James A. Siroshton, 91, of Athol, Idaho, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2018, at the Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.

He was born March 11, 1927, to Joseph and Nora Siroshton, in Williston, N.D., and later moved to Dalton Gardens, Idaho, where he attended school.

James served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum. He was a member of the VFW and Coeur d’Alene and Hayden Eagles. In his younger years, he always had a garden to be proud of. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include children, David (Jackie), Cheryl (Dan Ripley) and Gary Siroshton; grandsons, Sean Siroshton and Anthony Clarke; granddaughters, Bridgett Siroshton and Kaitlyn (Tyler) Burkley, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, George, Dan, Henry and Ed and sisters, Pam and Lee. His wife MaryLou died in 1992 and his wife Phyllis died in 2010.
