Enjoy Fall Fest, Apple Palooza today

COEUR d’ALENE — Be prepared to have barrels of fun today at Fall Fest and Apple Palooza in downtown Coeur d'Alene.

The Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association and Kootenai County Farmers Market are hosting a harvest market with fresh fall produce, breads, cheeses and more as well as apple treat tastings, goodies in the stores, free hayrides, vendors and a pet costume contest.

Maps for the apple treats and ballots for the people's choice award contest can be picked up at Fifth Street and Sherman Avenue. Prizes will be awarded for best dog costume, best dog and owner combo costume, and best "other" pet costume. The photo booth will be set up in the block north of Lakeside Avenue. Guests are welcome to snap pictures to post on social media and winners will be chosen off Instagram.

Fall Fest and Apple Palooza will go from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
