County candidate forum is tonight

COEUR d'ALENE — A forum featuring Kootenai County candidates in the Nov. 6 general election will be held tonight from 6 to 7 in the Coeur d'Alene Library's Community Room.

The Coeur Group, comprised of young area businessmen, is sponsoring the forum.

There will be 1-minute opening statements, questions from panelists and 1-minute closing statements.

Questions will be formed by a subcommittee of Coeur Group members.

A forum sponsored by The Press featuring state legislative candidates was held at the library on Tuesday night.

That forum will be re-broadcast on CdA-TV, Charter Cable channel 1301, multiple times before the Nov. 6 general election.

The dates and times are: Sunday and Wednesday, 2 p.m.; Monday and Friday, 2 a.m.; and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

It's also on the city's Facebook page and YouTube channels and will remain available on both internet sites for on-demand viewing.

The Kootenai County Voters Guide featuring all county and local state candidates is available free at the newspaper office, 215 N. Second St., in downtown Coeur d'Alene.
